Sample Itinerary For
Groups of 8 and up:
DAY 1 - Upon arrival at the airport, the group will be met
by a local escort. Transfer to your 4-star hotel in Siena.
The welcome dinner will be organized at the hotel
restaurant. (Siena D)
DAY 2 - In the morning, a local guide (for groups of 8 or
more) will introduce Siena, the town famous for the Palio,
the medieval horse race run twice a year. In the afternoon,
depart towards San Gimignano. On the way stop at a local
vineyards for a visit to their wonderful wine cellars and
for a wine tasting. Continue to San Gimignano for a walking
guided tour of this medieval wall-town famous for its
towers. Back to the Siena hotel late in the afternoon. On
the way back, stop in Monteriggioni, a very well preserved
medieval wall-town. (Siena B)
DAY 3 - Full day in excursion visiting the Crete Senesi (the
Siena Clays) and the Montalcino, the most famous area in
Italy for Brunello wine. The Crete Senesi are a spectacular
landscape, with breathtaking views. On the way to Montalcino,
stop for a coffee. Once in Montalcino, time at disposal to
wander around the narrow streets full with wine shops. Lunch
will be organized in a restaurant located inside the estate
of a very famous wine producer. Before returning back to
Siena, there will some time to visit a cathedral dating back
to the 9th century! If the group will be there at the right
time, it will listen to the friars singing the lauds!

DAY 4 - Leave the hotel in the morning directed to Florence
driving along the famous Chianti road. Before arriving in
Florence, stop at the Firenze Ugolino Golf Club for the
first round of golf. The club is the oldest golf course in
Italy dating back to the 1894. The non-golfers will continue
to Florence and while waiting for the golfers, they will
start visiting the town with a local guide. Check in at your
centrally located 4-star Florence hotel. Dinner at a local
restaurant in town. (Florence BD)
DAY 5 - Depart in the morning, to play the second round of
golf at Le Pavoniere Golf Club, the only Arnold Palmer
designed golf club in Italy. The non-golfers will continue
to Lucca where in a local farmhouse they will learn
something about the Italian cuisine, the olive oil and the
wine. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. at 5 pm, meet a
local guide in the hall of the hotel for a guided walking
tour of the town. (Florence B)
DAY 6 - Third round of golf at the Poggio de' Medici Golf
Club, home of the Ladies European Open. The golf course is
located in the Mugello area, 30 km north of Florence. The
non-golfers will be invited to a pottery class, or day free
in Florence. In the afternoon, once returned back to the
hotel, meet again the escort at 5 PM at the hotel to go to a
local cooking school for a hands-on lesson. Dinner included.

DAY 7 - Day free in Florence for shopping and sightseeing,
or we can arrange an optional round of golf. The farewell
dinner will be organized in a nice restaurant in Florence.

DAY 8 - Transfer to the airport of Florence and depart. -

$3550 per golfer double occupancy, based on 8 golfers
